The first plenary meeting of the Minimum Wage Commission held on the 18th at the Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, is being disrupted as Chairman Park Junsik and other public interest members of the commission did not attend. Chairman Park and the public interest members refused to attend the meeting, citing the presence of labor representatives inside the meeting room holding placards urging an increase in the minimum wage as a problem.
