On the 18th, GH announced that President Kim Seyong of GH and Lee Chungro, head of the Gyeonggi regional office of the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, attended the event where 100 million KRW was donated to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation.
Since 2015, GH has been selecting scholarship students from high schools in 31 cities and counties in the province to nurture future talents, providing an annual scholarship of 1 million KRW until graduation. Over the past eight years, a total of 327 students have received scholarships amounting to 733.5 million KRW.
Kim Seyong, President of GH, said, "I hope this scholarship will empower young people to develop their talents and achieve their dreams," and promised, "We will continue to support scholarships to foster local talent."
GH is actively working to solve community issues by supporting winter heating costs for energy-vulnerable groups in the province and conducting coastal cleanup activities along the Gyeonggi sea. It is also practicing cross-border mutual growth activities by delivering mobile laundry vehicles to earthquake-affected areas in Turkey.
