Former President Moon Jae-in mentioned in a documentary about himself, set to be released next month, that "the achievements made over five years were quickly destroyed."
In an interview featured in the documentary film Moon Jae-in Imnida, partially revealed on the YouTube show "Kim Eo-jun's Das Bweida" on the 18th, former President Moon said, "The achievements over five years were not just my accomplishments but those that the people and the Republic of Korea achieved together," adding, "Seeing those achievements collapse instantly and revert to the past makes me feel a sense of futility."
He continued, "As a private citizen, it is something I cannot forget, but in the realm of real politics, I had expressed a desire to be forgotten; however, I am constantly being summoned back to real politics," and said, "That dream has also become a futile matter."
Former President Moon stated, "If I am continuously summoned back into real politics like this, it will eventually boomerang back to them." The documentary film Moon Jae-in Imnida will be screened next month at the 24th Jeonju International Film Festival.
