Kyungbok University recently held a discussion forum for regional win-win collaboration at the Namyangju Campus Jiwoon Hall, jointly organized by the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation and the Innovation Support Project Group, together with Jinjeop-eup and the Jinjeop-eup Residents' Autonomy Committee of Namyangju City.

At this forum, the participating organizations shared concrete opinions on the activation project around Jinjeop Station (Daehak-ro Cultural Street Creation Project), the formation of the Regional Win-Win Committee, and the Regional Business Council through a business agreement between the local community and Kyungbok University.

Hwang In-young, head of the Innovation Support Project Group at Kyungbok University, stated, "Cooperation and collaboration with the local community regarding future education policies are more important than anything else," and explained the government's RISE project and the university's education policies aimed at value creation such as agenda sharing and joint problem-solving for the university's contribution to the local community.

Lee Dong-soo, head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation at Kyungbok University, expressed expectations, saying, "Through the signing of an MOU for mutual cooperation between the Jinjeop-eup Residents' Autonomy Committee and Kyungbok University, we will create a successful cooperation case between the local community and the university, becoming a model of win-win collaboration."

On the 20th of this month, Kyungbok University will hold a public-private-academic regional win-win business agreement ceremony involving three organizations: Jinjeop-eup, the Jinjeop-eup Residents' Autonomy Committee, and Kyungbok University.
