Actor Ma Dong-seok stars in the movie 'Crime City 3' (directed by Lee Sang-yong), which is set to be released in the first half of the year, AB0 Entertainment announced on the 18th.

The previous installment, 'Crime City 2,' was released on May 18 last year and attracted 12.69 million viewers, becoming the first film to reach 10 million viewers after the COVID-19 pandemic. The third installment is expected to be released between late May and early June.

The movie 'Crime City 3,' starring and produced by Ma Dong-seok, tells the thrilling story of detective Ma Seok-do (Ma Dong-seok) who, after transferring to the Seoul Metropolitan Investigation Unit, pursues Ju Seong-cheol (Lee Jun-hyuk), the mastermind behind a new type of drug crime, and another villain involved in the drug case, Ricky (Aoki Munetaka). It features a new team and a larger crime eradication operation.

Director Lee Sang-yong returns to the helm, with actors Lee Jun-hyuk and Aoki Munetaka playing Korean and Japanese villains, respectively.

There is growing anticipation to see if Ma Dong-seok’s powerful punch will revitalize the struggling cinema industry.
