The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam held the 'Changwon Regional Business Council Exchange Meeting' on the 18th.
The meeting was organized with the purpose of sharing current issues of participating business councils, seeking joint solutions, and jointly discovering future challenges for the regional industry.
On the 18th, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam held an exchange meeting with nine corporate councils in the Changwon area.
원본보기 아이콘Attendees included Gu Jacheon, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Jeong Yeongsik, Chairman of the Masan Free Trade Zone Business Association; Park Jongchun, Chairman of the Jinhae Small and Medium Business Association; Shin Gisu, Chairman of the Changwon National Industrial Complex Employers' Association; Lee Sanggil, Chairman of the Jinbuk Industrial Complex Resident Companies Council; Lee Jeongbok, Chairman of the Jinhae Macheon Casting Industrial Complex Council; Han Cheongsu, Chairman of the Masan Bongam Industrial Complex Business Council; Kwon Suhyeok, Chairman of the Naeseo Businessmen's Association; and Han Myeongseok, Chairman of the Daesan-myeon Business Council.
The chairmen of each regional council, who had felt the need for exchanges among industrial complexes within the region, unanimously highly evaluated the purpose of the exchange meeting and expressed their willingness to actively participate.
At the meeting, the council chairmen proposed the following tasks for regional industrial development: ▲ Establishing a local process for re-education and re-employment of women and retired personnel ▲ Efficient utilization of buffer zones near industrial sites ▲ Securing parking lots for workers and business use.
They also discussed regional issues such as ▲ Utilization of public sewage treatment facilities in the Jinhae Macheon Casting Industrial Complex ▲ Relaxation of location regulations in the Jinhae Macheon Casting Industrial Complex ▲ Reduction of toll fees on the Machang Bridge ▲ Creation of new industrial complexes in the Masan area ▲ Promotion of the Masan Bongam Industrial Complex regeneration project.
The difficulties and issues discussed that day will be adopted as agenda items for discussion at the economic council jointly formed by the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Changwon City after consultation, and will be further developed through continuous exchanges and discussions in the future.
Gu Jacheon, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, "The significance of today's meeting lies not only in sharing the current issues of local companies but also in the extensive discussions on what we need to prepare for the future," adding, "In resolving corporate difficulties and regulatory issues, it is necessary not to disperse efforts by region but to form a consensus and unite our voices. We will continue to discuss the issues and tasks presented today."
