On the 18th, Yeongyang County in Gyeongbuk invited mountaineer Um Hong-gil to the Yeongyang Culture and Sports Center to hold the 'April Yeongyang County Starlight Academy' lecture.

The Yeongyang Starlight Academy, open to all Yeongyang residents, is a program that invites distinguished figures from various fields to give lectures, aiming to provide residents with cultural enrichment and opportunities to communicate with notable personalities.

In the lecture, Captain Um Hong-gil delivered a message of courage that embraces relentless challenges and fearlessness of failure under the theme of 'Indomitable Spirit of Challenge.' Throughout the session, he captivated the audience with engaging episodes and witty remarks, earning great empathy and response.
