Gyeongnam Bank and Gimhae City Continue Partnership with Local Small Business Owners

BNK Gyeongnam Bank is making every effort to maintain a cooperative relationship with local small business owners.

On the 18th, BNK Gyeongnam Bank jointly held the ‘Small Business Hope Sharing Project’ with Gimhae City.

Gyeong Nam Bank President Kyung Yeong-tak and Gimhae Mayor Hong Tae-yong are providing financial consultations to small business owners.

The Small Business Hope Sharing Project held at the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Gimhae Financial Center was attended by Bank President Ye Kyung-tak, Mayor Hong Tae-yong, and local small business owners.

In particular, BNK Gyeongnam Bank decided to support a special loan program totaling 3 billion KRW, offering low-interest loans of up to 10 million KRW per individual.

President Ye and Mayor Hong conducted one-on-one interviews with local small business owners who visited to apply for loans, listening to their management difficulties and providing financial consulting, paying close attention to the voices from the field.

Mayor Hong stated, “We will strive to provide direct support to small business owners facing difficulties due to the prolonged economic downturn through support for small business development funds and continuous cooperation with local financial institutions.”

President Ye said, “The Small Business Hope Sharing Project was established to alleviate the difficulties of low-credit small business owners who have trouble managing funds and cannot secure loans from banks due to lack of collateral or low credit ratings. BNK Gyeongnam Bank will continue to maintain cooperative ties with local small business owners and do its best to revitalize the local economy.”

Meanwhile, individual business owners and employees of businesses in the Gimhae area who wish to apply for the special loan can inquire in advance and visit BNK Gyeongnam Bank branches located in Gimhae until the end of this year.
