EtoosEdu Declares 'Core Extension' as 2024 Vision

Smart education platform company EtoosEdu presented 'Corextension' as its vision for 2024 on the 18th.

Corextension is a compound word combining 'core,' meaning center or core value, and 'extension,' meaning scalability or expansion, signifying the intention to strengthen traditional core businesses and solidify internal stability.

To achieve this vision, EtoosEdu decided to strengthen its academy business, which accounts for the largest share of sales. Key strategies include establishing and operating math specialty centers within Cheongsol and Gangnam Hyper direct academies, and building a nationwide network of customized programs through expansion in the middle and high school markets.

For the online lecture brand 'Etoos (ETOOS),' the goal is set to 'cultivate integrated instructors who break down the boundaries between online and offline and establish an instructor management system.' The aim is to move away from the existing instructor pool heavily reliant on star instructors and build a 'New Rising' instructor spectrum that crosses online and offline lectures.

The Publishing Business Division plans to enhance the brand value of 'EtoosBook,' which publishes lecture textbooks and entrance exam study materials, by launching 'digital textbooks' and strengthening the competitiveness of flagship content such as 'Word Master' and 'ASAP Mock Exams.'

Subsidiary EtoosECI, which owns about 70 'Etoos247 Academy' franchises nationwide, plans to focus on expanding Etoos247 direct academies, entering the study cafe business, and establishing a nationwide network as new core business tasks.

CEO Jung said, "To achieve the 2024 vision without fail, we will clearly establish core tasks and a sense of purpose and promote each business accordingly," adding, "All members will make every effort to achieve visible and swift business results."
