'Due to Lax or Detergent?' Four People Hospitalized After Complaining of Headaches in Swimming Pool Shower Room

Four citizens using the shower room at a swimming pool in Daegu complained of headaches and were transported to a hospital.

According to the Daegu Fire Department on the 18th, at around 9:09 PM on the 17th, four males who used the shower room at a swimming pool in Uksu-dong, Suseong-gu, complained of headaches.

At that time, there were 18 users in total at the swimming pool, and among them, A (13 years old) and B (21 years old), along with two others, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

It was reported that the swimming pool staff used a cleaning agent made by mixing bleach for insect control and glass cleaner to clean the facility.

The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the incident.
