Michelin Korea and Korea Toyota Sign Tire Supply Agreement

Michelin Korea announced on the 18th that it has signed a tire supply business agreement (MOU) with Toyota Motor Korea for Lexus and Toyota vehicles. The signing ceremony was attended by Jerome Bangsong, CEO of Michelin Korea, and Manabu Konyama, CEO of Toyota Motor Korea, among others.

Through this agreement, Michelin's major tire products will be preferentially supplied to official Lexus and Toyota dealer service centers. In particular, customers of vehicles equipped with Michelin tires such as the Lexus UX, RX, Toyota Sienna, and GR86 can replace their tires with Michelin tires when it is time for tire replacement.

Additionally, customers can choose Michelin tire products suitable for each vehicle. In the future, Michelin plans to expand its tire lineup tailored to the characteristics of each Lexus and Toyota model, including sports tires, comfort tires, and sport utility vehicle (SUV) tires.

To commemorate this business agreement, Toyota Motor Korea will hold a special promotion offering a 10% discount off the recommended retail price of Michelin tires at official Lexus and Toyota dealer service centers nationwide from the 18th until May 17th.

Jerome Bangsong, CEO of Michelin Korea, said, “We are very pleased to provide Lexus and Toyota customers with Michelin’s premium value of ‘Performance Made to Last’ through this business agreement. Going forward, both companies will continue to maintain a close cooperative relationship to meet the diverse needs of Lexus and Toyota customers and to provide the level of service expected by Toyota Motor Korea.”
