Man in His 60s Creating Orchard Path in Haman Dies After Being Crushed by Excavator

A man in his 60s died after falling while operating an excavator in an orchard.

According to the Ham-an Police Station in Gyeongnam on the 18th, Mr. A was using a small excavator to create a path on a sloped hill in his orchard located in Chilbuk-myeon, Ham-an County, at around 8:30 a.m. on the 15th.

During the work, the excavator rolled down about 3 meters, and Mr. A, who was riding it, was crushed by the excavator.

Mr. A was immediately taken to the hospital after the accident but passed away during treatment.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
