T'way Air announced on the 18th that it will launch a new regular route to Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia in June.
The Bishkek route, operating once a week (Sundays) from June 11, departs Incheon Airport at 4:00 PM and arrives at Bishkek Airport at 8:30 PM local time. The flight takes approximately 7 hours, with a time difference of 3 hours behind Korea.
The Kyrgyzstan route was newly allocated (twice a week) through the 2020 traffic rights distribution, and T'way Air plans to consider operating twice a week in the future depending on aircraft and route schedule operations.
To commemorate the launch of the Incheon-Bishkek route, a promotion is being held for customers who book through the website. When booking special fare tickets, one-way total fares are available from 393,800 KRW. For regular fare bookings, entering the promotion code '신규취항' (New Route Launch) allows a 10% discount. Additionally, a 20,000 KRW discount coupon is provided separately, enabling combined discounts for regular fare bookings.
This event runs from the 18th to May 1 on the website and mobile app (web). It applies only to flights between June 11 and October 28.
A T'way Air official said, "With this Kyrgyzstan route launch, we hope travelers can experience the unique charm of Central Asia, a lesser-known but gem-like travel destination," adding, "We will continue thorough preparations to provide safer and more comfortable service with the newly introduced B738-8 aircraft."
