Samsung C&T Construction Division's 'Raemian Universe,' showcased at the Raemian Gallery, received the main prize at the German iF Design Award, one of the world's top three design awards.
According to Samsung C&T on the 18th, Raemian Universe was selected as a winner in the interior architecture category of the iF Design Award. With this award, Samsung C&T has produced a total of 14 winning works in the history of the iF Design Award.
The iF Design Award is considered one of the world's top three design awards alongside RED DOT and IDEA. A jury of 133 judges from over 20 countries evaluates more than 10,000 entries from 56 countries through two rounds of judging to select the final winners.
Raemian Universe is a 5th-floor space of the Raemian Gallery, which was renewed last September. It consists of a video hall, residential experience hall, and lounge space. This space showcases Raemian's core values of housing and its vision for future living. World-renowned designer Patricia Urquiola and Lee Hee-jin, CEO of Sonori, participated in the design, creating a unique residential space using diverse colors and distinctive finishing materials.
In addition to Raemian Universe, Samsung C&T's residential culture center, Raemian Gallery, includes Raemian RAI Life Hall, Raemian Earthpirit, and Nature Gallery. To allow various age groups to enjoy the space, customer experience elements have been enhanced through annual seasonal exhibitions and weekend academies.
Kim Myung-seok, Vice President and Head of Housing Division at Samsung C&T Construction Division, said, "Raemian design continues to be recognized on the international stage," adding, "We will continue to do our best to satisfy customers with future-oriented and innovative products."
