The Trax crossover, which began overseas sales mainly in the North American region from the end of February, sold 13,828 units last month. It ranked fifth among all domestic cars. It surpassed 20,000 units cumulatively within two months after its first shipment. In the domestic car export rankings, Hyundai's compact sedan Avante and Hyundai-Kia's compact SUVs Kona and Niro ranked second to fourth, respectively.

Roberto Rempel, president of 한국GM, said, "Chevrolet products, representing the United States, have once again proven their competitiveness in the global market."

한국GM continued a steady upward trend in sales performance, supported by the strong exports of the two Chevrolet models. Total sales last month were 40,781 units, a 64% increase compared to the same period last year. This is the highest monthly sales volume since December 2020. The company raised its annual production target to 500,000 units, focusing on these two models.
