Shinsegae L&B Holds 'Bargain 4 Days'... 114 Types of Wine and Whiskey Discounted

Shinsegae L&B announced on the 18th that it will hold a 'Bargain 4 Days' event from the 20th to the 23rd at Wine & More stores nationwide, offering discounts on approximately 114 types of alcoholic beverages.

Bargain 4 Days is an alcohol discount event started by Shinsegae L&B in 2019, held for four days every year in the first half of the year. It features products that reflect the latest alcohol trends and are highly preferred by consumers, offering a wide range from high-end products to reasonably priced options to broaden consumer choices.

First, as a premium product, the Chilean wine 'Almaviva 2019,' which gained attention after appearing in the Netflix drama 'The Glory,' will be sold for 299,000 KRW. A limited quantity of 94 bottles of 'Almaviva 2019' is prepared; it is a top-quality wine made using the traditional Bordeaux method and was ranked 10th in the Top 100 by the global wine magazine 'Wine Spectator.'

Considering the recent high inflation, cost-effective wines and beers are also available. Two types of New Zealand Marlborough wine, famous as the home of Sauvignon Blanc, are offered at 22,000 KRW each, and three types of the authentic German premium beer 'Weihenstephan' 500mL are available at 9,900 KRW for three bottles.

With the growing culture of enjoying whiskey, two popular whiskeys will be sold in limited quantities. The Scottish single malt whiskey 'Macallan Intense Arabica' is available in 140 bottles at 488,000 KRW each, and the Japanese blended whiskey 'Hibiki Harmony' from Suntory is available in 400 bottles at 149,000 KRW each.

A Shinsegae L&B official said, "Due to the recent continuous rise in prices, we focused on minimizing the price burden on alcohol consumers while preparing this year's Bargain 4 Days event," adding, "We hope customers enjoy various alcoholic beverages, including premium wines and whiskeys that are experiencing scarcity, at discounted prices."
