Seong Yujin jumped 28 spots from 135th last week to 107th in the women's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 17th (local time). She earned points by finishing tied for 2nd at the LPGA Tour Lotte Championship (total prize money $2 million), which concluded on the 15th at Hoakalei Country Club (par 72) in Ewa Beach, Oahu, Hawaii, USA. Seong Yujin participated in this tournament as an invited player after winning the KLPGA Tour Lotte Open last year.


Lydia Ko (New Zealand) is ranked 1st, Nelly Korda (USA) 2nd, Ko Jin-young 3rd, Minjee Lee (Australia) 4th, and Atthaya Thitikul (Thailand) 5th. South Korea's Kim Hyo-joo is 9th, Jeon In-ji 11th, Park Min-ji 23rd, and Choi Hye-jin 25th. Grace Kim (Australia), the winner of the Lotte Championship, jumped an impressive 98 spots to 80th. Lee Joo-mi, winner of the KLPGA Tour Mediheal·Hankook Ilbo Championship, rose 138 spots to 182nd.
