The three major indices of the U.S. New York Stock Exchange closed slightly higher on Monday, the 17th (local time), as investors monitored corporate earnings announcements.
On that day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.28% compared to the previous session. The large-cap-focused S&P 500 index increased by 0.33%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq index closed up 0.28%.
