On the 17th, Korea Railroad Corporation's Gwangju Regional Management Office conducted a traffic safety campaign targeting railroad crossings with heavy traffic in celebration of the Railroad Traffic Safety Month.
The Gwangju Regional Management Office carried out on-site promotional and inspection activities, including posting safety campaign banners, distributing safety promotional wet tissues, and inspecting facilities around the railroad crossings.
Kim Yang-sook, head of the Gwangju Regional Management Office, emphasized, "With the increase in spring outing travelers, the number of vehicles passing through railroad crossings has risen, making it very dangerous. To prevent crossing accidents, we will continue to conduct nationwide public relations activities such as railroad traffic safety campaigns to encourage public interest and participation, aiming to create a safer and more convenient railroad."
