The 1st "Open Forum" hosted by the Korea Publication Culture Industry Promotion Agency will be held on the 19th at 2 PM in the 50th Anniversary Hall of the Changbi Seogyo Building under the theme "Reading the 2023 Publishing Trends."
Experts in consumer changes reading trends, publishing, marketing, and bookstore representatives will analyze the paradigm shifts in publishing and focus on the 2023 publishing trends that will serve as a benchmark for business.
The presentations will proceed in the following order: ▲ Alpha Generation Algorithms (Choi Ji-hye, Research Fellow at Seoul National University Consumer Trend Analysis Center) ▲ Publishers’ ‘Godsaeng’ Living Amid Recession (Kim Sena, CEO of Publilancer) ▲ Searching for Lost Readers (Park Jung-hyuk, Marketing Team Manager at Heureum Publishing) ▲ Predicting Publishing Trends through Digital Content (Vice Director of Book Division 2 at Yes24).
The event will be held both online and offline, and participation is possible through pre-registration. Pre-registration for participation can be applied for on the Publication Promotion Agency’s website until 10 AM on the 19th.
An official from the Publication Promotion Agency stated, “As consumer trends are shifting from the MZ Generation to the Alpha Generation, we have prepared a time to quickly learn about Alpha Generation readers in the publishing market. We hope that through this forum, where experts from various fields share their experiences and insights, many publishing stakeholders will gain inspiration, marketing, and business insights for new challenges.”
