Daewoong Pharmaceutical Appoints Group DAVA as Ambassador and Advisor for 'Violet' Promotion

Daewoong Pharmaceutical held the 'DAVA Symposium' at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul on the 15th and announced on the 17th that it appointed eight ambassadors and advisors for the submental fat reduction injection 'V-OLET'.

The event, which began with congratulatory remarks from Kim Byung-jin, head of Daewoong Pharmaceutical's Nabota Business Center, was described by Daewoong Pharmaceutical as the first official occasion to commemorate the appointment and formation of the 'DAVA' group, who serve as ambassadors and advisors for V-OLET.

DAVA is an acronym derived from the English initials of 'DAEWOONG AESTHETICS V-OLET AMBASSADOR' and consists of authorities in the aesthetic plastic surgery industry with a high level of understanding and expertise regarding V-OLET. The eight industry professionals appointed to DAVA shared key messages for this year and exchanged directions and opinions to further solidify V-OLET's leadership in the market.

They plan to establish medical staff education guidelines and contribute to the dissemination of proper procedures through Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s medical staff training programs, while actively collaborating in various fields such as expanding procedures according to the latest aesthetic trends and brand campaigns.

Park Sung-soo, Vice President of Daewoong Pharmaceutical, stated, "We consider the appointment of DAVA and the symposium very meaningful as it allowed in-depth discussions about V-OLET, Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s second medical aesthetic product." He added, "Going forward, Daewoong Pharmaceutical will continue to enhance communication with medical professionals and strive to strengthen its position as a leading company in medical aesthetics."

V-OLET is the only submental fat reduction injection approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in Korea.
