An incident occurred at a middle school in Gangnam, Seoul, where a student stabbed a classmate with a weapon and then attempted suicide.

On the 17th, the Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced that a middle school student, A, in Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, wielded a weapon against a classmate, B, and then jumped from a nearby apartment.

According to the police, after the crime, A went to the rooftop of a nearby apartment and attempted suicide. B is currently hospitalized and is in stable condition.

The police are investigating the detailed circumstances and motive behind the crime.
