Nonghyup Changwon Branch "We Cheered Together at the Changwon Yacheol Marathon"

The NongHyup Changwon City Branch operated a food booth for participants, their families, and citizens cheering at the 19th Changwon Night Marathon held on the 16th at Gyeongnam Changwon Sports Park.

About 30 people attended the event, including Kim Gap-moon, head of the NongHyup Changwon City Branch, employees, the Gyeongnam Province Chapter of the Hometown Housewives Association, and members of the Changwon City Chapter. They carried out food-sharing volunteer activities, providing garaetteok (rice cakes) and tofu made from domestic rice to promote rice consumption.

With over 3,000 citizens attending, promotional flyers were distributed to raise awareness and encourage participation in the Hometown Love Donation Program, alongside promotional activities for the program.

Head Kim said, “We are pleased that NongHyup could join citizens through food-sharing volunteer work at the marathon event, a place for harmony and physical fitness on a sunny spring day,” adding, “Citizens’ participation in the Hometown Love Donation Program greatly helps revitalize the local economy and increase consumption of agricultural and livestock products, so we ask for much interest and participation.”
