Jeil Middle School Baseball Team Wins Ulsan Representative Selection for National Youth Sports Festival ... Advances to Finals

Jeil Middle School baseball team won the Ulsan City representative selection match for the middle school division of the National Youth Sports Festival and will advance to the main event of the National Youth Sports Festival this May.

The selection match was held at Munsu Ulsan Baseball Stadium in a best-of-three format and was hosted by the Ulsan Baseball Association.

Jeil Middle School baseball team defeated their opponent, Ulju-gun BC (Baseball Club), with a score of 8-1 in the first game and 11-0 in the second game, securing consecutive wins and advancing to the main event.

Jo Suchang, the coach of Jeil Middle School, said, "I am proud of the players who followed the training well during the last winter season," and added, "We will prepare well with the players during the remaining period and do our best in the national competition."

Lee Ji-in, the head of the parents' association, expressed joy, saying, "This result was made possible by the dedicated guidance of Coach Jo Suchang, Coach Kim Ho-young, and Coach Kim Hoon-jae, as well as the pure passion of our children who love baseball," and added, "We will help our players and future prospects grow well in Ulsan, a baseball barren land."
