Welcome Heo Gwanghan, 'Marry My Dead Body' to be Released in May

Actor Huo Guanghan (Xu Guanghan) stars in 'Marry My Dead Body,' which will be exclusively released at CGV in May, announced the distributor Lian Contents on the 17th.

'Marry My Dead Body' is a comic action blockbuster that depicts a unique collaborative investigation between the hot-blooded detective Wu Minghan (Huo Guanghan) and the wrongfully deceased spirit Mao Mao (Lin Baigong), featuring an unprecedented human-ghost partnership.

The drama 'Shang Jian Ni,' which aired from 2019 to 2020 and gained enough popularity to be made into a film, led the craze of 'Shang Qin Zhe' (fans obsessed with Shang Jian Ni) with Huo Guanghan, and Lin Baigong (Lin Baihong), who built a solid domestic fandom with 'Romance of Eccentrics' (2021), teamed up. The film 'Shang Jian Ni' was released in January and attracted 360,000 viewers, demonstrating its strong appeal. At that time, Huo Guanghan actively participated in promotional activities by visiting Korea with the lead actors to draw 'Shang Qin Zhe' to theaters.

'Marry My Dead Body' ranked number one at the Taiwan box office, garnering significant local attention. The distributor explained that fans in Korea also made numerous requests for its release.
