Doosan Robotics Launches E Series Collaborative Robots Specialized for Food and Beverage Industry

Doosan Robotics launched the E Series, a collaborative robot specialized for the food and beverage industry, on the 17th.

The E Series boasts excellent price competitiveness, industry-leading safety, and hygiene standards. In particular, it has obtained food hygiene safety certification from the U.S. National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) by featuring ▲sealed gaps between all connected joints of the collaborative robot ▲a white design applied for cleanliness ▲coatings that are easy to clean and resistant to contamination. Additionally, the product’s size and weight have been reduced, and a streamlined design adopted, making it more space-efficient and easier to install compared to previous models.

Doosan Robotics plans to expand its solutions into more diverse fields such as bakery, fast food, and barbecue cuisine through partnerships with collaborators, in addition to existing solutions for coffee, ice cream, and fried foods.

With the launch of the E Series, Doosan Robotics now offers a total of 13 lineups, including the M Series, which features torque sensors (force sensors) embedded in all six rotational axes to deliver industry-leading performance and safety; the H Series, capable of carrying the heaviest payload of 25kg among collaborative robots worldwide; and the A Series, which achieves the industry’s highest speed at a reasonable price.

Doosan Robotics plans to release Dart-Suite, a software platform that allows easy design and sharing of functions necessary for operating collaborative robots, within the first half of this year.
