Yoon Hee-geun, Commissioner of the National Police Agency, visited the Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency located in Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeonbuk on the 17th to encourage those appointed by special promotion.
Commissioner Yoon appointed Sergeant Park Jae-woo, who was arrested along with six members of the local labor union executive for forcibly recruiting union members and extorting a total of 160 million won under the name of former executive fees, by special promotion.
Commissioner Yoon urged, "Please continue to focus on cracking down on violent acts at construction sites so that the public can feel that construction sites have become safer." He also encouraged the cold case investigation team investigating the Baek Sergeant murder case, who discovered firearms and are conducting an investigation.
Commissioner Yoon then visited Wonkwang University Hospital in Iksan-si, Jeonbuk, where he toured the Intoxicated Emergency Medical Center and the Psychiatric Emergency Medical Center. Commissioner Yoon stated, "Protective measures for intoxicated individuals and patients with mental illnesses are the most challenging tasks for on-site police officers, and I am grateful for the cooperation and support of the medical staff at Wonkwang University." He presented a letter of appreciation to Wonkwang University Hospital.
