Shooting at Alabama Teen's Birthday Party...4 Dead

A shooting occurred at a birthday party for teenagers held in Alabama, in the southern United States, resulting in 4 deaths and multiple injuries, AP News reported on the 16th (local time).


According to reports, the shooting took place around 10:30 p.m. the previous night in Dadeville, about 92 km northeast of Montgomery, Alabama. The party was celebrating a teenager's 16th birthday, and most of the victims were also reported to be teenagers.


Jeremy Burkett of the Alabama judicial authorities confirmed that "4 people lost their lives in this incident" and "numerous injuries occurred" that morning. Detailed information about suspects, motives, or detentions has not yet been disclosed.


Dadeville is a small town with a population of 3,200. Local broadcaster WRBL TV reported that the shooting happened at a dance studio. Witnesses said they heard multiple gunshots and screams from people inside the building.
