This support was provided to facilities with fewer than 50 children, and daycare centers and kindergartens with 50 or more children will receive supplies in two phases by June.

The Support Project to Promote the Consumption of Domestic Wheat is a key initiative aimed at encouraging the consumption of domestic wheat and raising awareness about the value of agricultural products.

It is being promoted to increase the demand for domestic wheat products and replace snacks for young children with domestic wheat products, thereby providing safe food and helping to increase the income of local wheat farmers.

In particular, by providing healthy domestic wheat, the project aims to contribute to the growth and development of children and instill awareness of the safety of domestic agricultural products in children, who are the future consumers of agricultural products.

The support targets 1,611 children attending daycare centers and kindergartens in the region. The city conducted a demand survey and made thorough preparations to supply domestic wheat products.

A city official said, "Due to rapidly changing climate and international situations, wheat prices are soaring. We will strive to supply safe domestic wheat products to protect children's health and revitalize domestic wheat farmers and processing companies."
