Air Busan is expanding convenience for travelers in the metropolitan area by opening a dedicated check-in counter at the Seoul Station City Airport Terminal.
Passengers using international flights departing from Incheon can check in at the dedicated counter, which is available to anyone holding an international flight ticket departing from Incheon International Airport. Check-in is conducted at Air Busan's dedicated counter No. 2 on Basement Level 2 of Seoul Station.
After completing check-in and baggage drop-off at the terminal, passengers can comfortably proceed through the exclusive departure lane at Incheon International Airport.
The check-in service is available from 5:20 AM to 7:00 PM, and check-in and baggage drop-off must be completed at least three hours before the flight departure.
This morning, an opening ceremony for Air Busan’s check-in service at the Seoul Station City Airport Terminal was held in front of the Air Busan check-in counter.
The event was attended by Air Busan’s Sales Director Ma Hojin and Airport Railroad’s Sales Director Kim Seongpil, among other officials, to commemorate the opening together.
To celebrate the service launch, Air Busan is offering an additional 5 kg of checked baggage allowance to customers who purchase tickets at discounted or regular fares until the 31st of next month. Additionally, a folding bag giveaway event will be held daily for the first 15 customers on a first-come, first-served basis.
An Air Busan representative stated, “This service is expected to enhance the convenience of Air Busan passengers using the Airport Railroad and reduce the time required for check-in and departure procedures at Incheon Airport, allowing Air Busan passengers on Incheon routes to enjoy their travels more comfortably.”
The Seoul Station City Airport Terminal is currently the only urban terminal in the country providing airport services, offering check-in and departure screening services for international flights departing from Incheon Airport to passengers using the ‘Direct Train’.
At this terminal, passengers can check in their baggage at their preferred time on the day of departure, allowing them to travel lightly to Incheon Airport without luggage.
