This briefing was organized to report to the public the detailed blueprint and concrete implementation plans of the Digital Platform Government, a core national agenda of the Yoon administration. President Yoon emphasized, "It is about integrating information scattered across various ministries and agencies into a single platform based on AI (artificial intelligence) so that citizens can utilize it." He added, "The more the platform is used, the more it learns and evolves, enabling us to better understand what citizens want and become smarter based on AI."

He also highlighted that this initiative is on a different level from the e-government efforts pursued over the past 30 years. President Yoon said, "We can nurture talent in AI, software, and digital fields, and as industries in each sector grow, there will be tremendous job creation effects," expressing expectations for the ripple effects throughout the process. He also urged investment, stating, "Proactive investment must be made in the Digital Platform Government, and if we lead the way, the Digital Platform Government itself can become a key export industry," adding, "It will be not only South Korea's but also the future government model and national strategic industry for countries worldwide."

According to the plan to establish the Digital Platform Government, the Yoon administration aims to share data and information on a single platform. It is believed that synergy can be created when necessary information is shared and integrated across ministries. President Yoon also expects that this will not only maximize the efficiency of administrative services such as simplifying various civil complaints and licensing procedures but also bring significant changes to how the government operates. He said, "The government will be able to proactively provide what citizens want, and decision-making will be based on data and science regarding which tasks the government should focus on," forecasting, "This will also help ease social conflicts."

During the briefing, examples such as 'Simplified Factory Licensing Service,' 'Zero Attachment Documents for Government Offices,' and 'Benefit Notifier that Delivers Customized Information Automatically' were unveiled. Policy measures to realize the future transformation of the Digital Platform Government were presented, including 'Core Tasks of the Digital Platform Government,' 'Measures to Strengthen Competitiveness in Super-large AI,' and 'Plans to Secure Public Trust for Data Innovation.'
