Lotte Chemical and Lotte Fine Chemical will participate in 'CHINAPLAS 2023,' Asia's largest international plastics and rubber industry exhibition.

The exhibition, held from the 17th to the 20th in Shenzhen, China, features about 3,900 companies from approximately 150 countries worldwide, including major global chemical companies.

Through this exhibition, Lotte Chemical and Lotte Fine Chemical will introduce eco-friendly and specialty materials, as well as future new business technologies and products, under the theme "Wide Spectrum in Chemistry."

At the entrance of the approximately 330㎡ exhibition booth, visitors can watch dynamic videos showcasing Lotte Chemical's corporate vision "Every Step for Green" and its expanded business, product, and technology spectrum on a large media wall.

In the "Green Innovative Solution" zone, high value-added strategic materials such as HDPE separators, cathode foils, and battery pouch films used in lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles will be exhibited. Additionally, Lotte Chemical will introduce its eco-friendly businesses, including the CCU (Carbon Capture and Utilization) technology process using gas separation membranes?the first in the domestic chemical industry?and its hydrogen energy business roadmap.

In the Specialty Solution zone, visitors can explore differentiated high-performance antibacterial material evermoin, antiviral material everban, and eco-friendly bio PET made from bio-monoethylene glycol (Bio-MEG) extracted from sugarcane.

Moreover, through Lotte Chemical's resource circulation project "Project LOOP," uniforms, shoes, and bags produced through physical and chemical recycling processes will be displayed. In addition, lightweight materials for mobility and high-pressure hydrogen storage tanks applicable to hydrogen electric vehicles, industrial machinery, drones, and various hydrogen mobility fields will be showcased.
