The National Police Agency announced on the 14th that it held a workshop on audit practices between the National Police Agency and the Metropolitan and Provincial Autonomous Police Committees to promote the activation of audits on autonomous police affairs.

At the workshop, audit cases and techniques were discussed to enhance audit capabilities regarding autonomous police affairs.

An official from the National Police Agency stated, "To prevent vulnerabilities in public safety and establish a work atmosphere centered on basics and principles, a comprehensive audit of all police affairs must be conducted," adding, "To promote audits, we will expand standalone and joint audits by the National Police Agency with prior cooperation." The official also mentioned that internal audit consulting support will be provided.
