On the 14th, Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle announced that it held the ‘2023 Dealer Conference’ the previous day at The Ocean Resort in Yeosu, Jeollanam-do, where it selected and awarded dealerships and salespersons with outstanding sales performance from last year.
In the salesperson category, Deputy Manager Kim Young-hwan from the Daejeon dealership, who sold 151 vehicles last year and recorded approximately 18.3 billion KRW in individual sales performance, was selected as the top salesperson for the fourth consecutive year. Manager Han Joo-hee from the Jeonju dealership sold 68 vehicles in her first year of employment, achieving about 7.7 billion KRW in sales, and received the Rookie of the Year award.
In the dealership category, the Chungcheong Western dealership, which sold 539 vehicles and recorded approximately 59.7 billion KRW in sales, won the grand prize. All salespersons at this dealership achieved consistently high sales performance, earning the grand prize for three consecutive years.
In the cumulative sales category, the Jeonju dealership, which surpassed 4,000 vehicle sales, was selected as the best dealership, and individually, Deputy Manager Park Min-sik from the Jeonju dealership was named the best salesperson after reaching a cumulative sales volume of 1,000 vehicles.
Manager Kim Soo-bin from the Gunsan dealership recorded sales of 128 units of the compact truck ‘The Sen,’ earning the title of ‘The Sen’ top salesperson. The Gyeonggi Southern dealership, which achieved a total sales performance of 167 units of ‘The Sen,’ was selected as the excellent dealership for ‘The Sen’ sales.
Kim Bang-shin, President of Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle, said, “Although there were difficulties in new vehicle sales due to the impact of interest rate hikes continuing from last year, steady sales performance was possible thanks to salespersons who took the lead in improving customer service. We will strive to devise various measures to actively support the salespersons working on the front lines.”
