Hyundai Engineering Conducts 'Ecological Forest Care' Volunteer Activity

Hyundai Engineering employees and their families participated in a volunteer activity to "cultivate an ecological forest" at Noeul Park in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the 8th, the company announced on the 14th.


About 40 Hyundai Engineering employees and their families attended the event and planted 140 trees, including Hovenia dulcis and Quercus acutissima. Three more events will be held this year, with a total of 560 trees planned to be planted.

A Hyundai Engineering official said, "We are conducting social contribution programs that employees' families can also participate in, such as the 'Family Volunteer Activity for Cleaning the National Cemetery' and the 'Exciting Steps Campaign,' a walking donation campaign," adding, "We plan to continue providing various opportunities, including volunteer activities and cultural events, for employees' families in the future."


Meanwhile, Hyundai Engineering's ecological forest cultivation volunteer activity is part of the 'Creating 100 Forests' project at Seoul Noeul Park. This project aims to transform Noeul Park, which was formerly the Nanji landfill site, into an ecological park by continuously planting trees.
