On the 14th, the Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority published the '2022 Pyeongtaek Port Statistical Yearbook' to enhance convenience for Pyeongtaek Port users and port workers.

This statistical yearbook is composed of a total of eight chapters, utilizing integrated Port-MIS data from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Pyeongtaek Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, Korea Customs Service, and self-collected statistical data to analyze the import and export items of Pyeongtaek Port and related results.

The main contents include ▲National port operation status ▲Total cargo handling performance at Pyeongtaek Port ▲Container handling performance at Pyeongtaek Port ▲Automobile handling performance at Pyeongtaek Port ▲Major status of Pyeongtaek Port ▲Data related to major import and export items of Pyeongtaek Port, among others.

Additionally, through collaboration with the Korea Trade Statistics Promotion Institute, the yearbook provides in-depth analysis and added results not only on major items such as natural gas and grains included in last year’s yearbook but also on automobile cargo volume.

Kim Seok-gu, President of the Pyeongtaek Port Authority, stated, "Through the continuous publication of the Pyeongtaek Port Statistical Yearbook, we will secure expertise as a port authority by responding to the information needs of Pyeongtaek Port users," and added, "We hope the yearbook will be widely used as basic data to enhance the competitiveness of Pyeongtaek Port."

The Pyeongtaek Port Authority designed this yearbook not as a monotonous concept solely for information provision but to be approachable and friendly to readers in line with the latest trends.
