The Disability Employment Promotion Conference is a government award system that recognizes employers and citizens who have contributed to promoting the employment of people with disabilities to raise awareness about disability employment.

Korea Seven was recognized for establishing a mutual cooperation system with the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, expanding employment of people with disabilities, and actively providing convenience to disabled employees, earning the Minister of Employment and Labor Commendation.

Korea Seven has continuously held disability recruitment briefings through job fairs since 2017, and during the hiring process, it conducts interviews by directly visiting the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, implementing a recruitment system centered on job seekers with disabilities rather than employers.

After hiring, to facilitate commuting for disabled workers, Korea Seven assigns them to branches near their residences and provides assistive technology devices called 'EasyCom' free of charge to workers with severe disabilities, making efforts to improve work convenience for people with disabilities.

Korea Seven also continues efforts to improve awareness of disabilities in the workplace. It conducts 'Disability Awareness Improvement Education' annually to help employees understand the correct definition of disability and shift their perspectives on disabilities.

Kim Il-yeon, head of the Seven Eleven HR Innovation Team, said, "Through active hiring of disabled workers, we are striving not only to meet the mandatory employment rate but also to fulfill corporate social responsibility and practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management." He added, "We will continue to work to create a work environment where all employees can work energetically."
