Transition from Manual to Digital ... Convenient Management and Viewing of Tong and Ban Districts
Construction Begins, Scheduled to be Introduced on the District Office Website in the Second Half of This Year
Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) is smartly guiding administrative districts.
A Guro-gu official stated on the 14th, "We plan to establish an online system called 'Smart Tong·Ban (統·班)' that allows easy access to the status of Tong and Ban, the administrative districts within the area," adding, "We are starting with data collection to build a database and will fully engage in program development."
The 'Smart Tong·Ban' system is a program that spatially maps 629 Tong and 4,926 Ban within the area to provide a comprehensive view of administrative districts.
Previously, the status of Tong and Ban was recorded manually, and to verify this information, inquiries had to be made at the community service centers, causing inconvenience in management and viewing.
Accordingly, the district has embarked on digitizing the manual system to enhance administrative efficiency and resident convenience.
In the future system, users will be able to view Tong and Ban districts at a glance, and by entering road names or lot numbers, they can identify the corresponding Tong or Ban.
In addition to Tong and Ban guidance, the website will link to community service centers and the Minwon24 website at the bottom, allowing easy access to other civil services.
The district plans to introduce the system through the district office website in the second half of this year and provide up-to-date information through regular management.
Moon Il-heon, Mayor of Guro-gu, said, "This digitization work will make the management and verification of Tong and Ban more systematic and convenient," and added, "We will do our best to ensure smooth progress in system development."
