Jeong Seok-geun, Former Naver Clova CEO, Appointed as SKT North America CEO

Jeong Seok-geun, former CEO of Naver Clova Corporate Independent Company (CIC), was appointed as the CEO of SK Telecom America (SKTA) earlier this month.

SKTA is SKT's local subsidiary in North America, responsible for global business and venture investments. SKT holds 100% of the shares. CEO Jeong is in charge of global investment partnerships and other duties at SKTA.

Since April 2017 until recently, CEO Jeong served as the CEO of Naver Clova CIC and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Naver Cloud, overseeing Naver's artificial intelligence (AI) business.
