Black smoke is rising from a fire at an auto repair shop in Palyong-dong, Uichang-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam.

A fire broke out at an automobile repair shop in Palyong-dong, Uichang-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam Province, at 12:02 PM on the 13th.
According to the Changwon Fire Headquarters, a passerby nearby reported seeing smoke near the agricultural products direct sales market.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, the fire was burning on the first floor of the repair shop building and was spreading to a nearby agricultural food sales store on the second floor.
At the scene, 21 pieces of equipment including 7 pump trucks, 4 water tanks, and 1 rescue vehicle, along with 85 personnel including 77 firefighters and 8 police officers, were deployed.
The fire was extinguished around 12:47 PM without any casualties, but the sandwich panel exterior walls and part of the roof of two buildings were burned, and vehicle parts, repair tools, and 2,000 packing boxes were destroyed, causing property damage estimated by the fire station at about 40 million KRW.
The fire and police authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire, which is believed to have started due to carelessness during rail cutting work at the repair shop.
