Samhwa Paint Develops In-Can Smart System... Provides Real-Time Color Information to Dealerships

Samwha Paint Industrial announced on the 13th that it has developed the ‘In-Can Smart System,’ which significantly enhances the color mixing convenience for paint dealerships.

Dealerships equipped with Samwha Paint’s automatic color mixing equipment plan to fully implement the In-Can Smart System going forward. Previously, paint dealerships requested color data values from manufacturers for color mixing, and the manufacturers provided suitable color data. The dealerships would download this data and manually input it into the mixing equipment, but errors such as incorrect data entry sometimes resulted in improperly mixed paint being delivered or discarded, causing losses.

The newly developed In-Can Smart System automates the entire process from data search to mixing and color updates based on the POS (Point of Sale) system. Using this system minimizes input errors and requires no separate equipment operation, making it efficient. Additionally, new or updated mixing information is automatically updated, allowing for the creation of more accurate colors with the latest mixing data at all times.

Samwha Paint plans to complete POS system updates at dealerships with automatic color mixing equipment by the end of this month. They will also provide free internet connection for system use and training on POS operation.

A Samwha Paint representative stated, “This In-Can Smart System will be very useful for dealerships that have relatively struggled with color mixing operations,”

and added, “We will continue to develop various automatic equipment and programs to enhance the convenience and economic efficiency for dealership owners through dealership smartization.”
