On the 13th, S-OIL delivered a scholarship fund of 100 million KRW at the Ulju County Office, attended by Lee Soon-geol, Ulju County Governor, Oh Seok-dong, Executive Director of S-OIL, Park Kwang-chul, representative of Ulju Youth, Jeon Young-do, chairman of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, and representatives of Onsan-eup organizations.
On the 13th, S-Oil, along with Lee Soon-geol, County Governor, Oh Seok-dong, Executive Director of S-Oil, Park Kwang-chul, Youth Representative, Jeon Young-do, Chairman of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, and representatives of Onsan-eup, attended the event to donate 100 million won to the scholarship fund.
원본보기 아이콘Starting this year, S-OIL plans to donate 100 million KRW annually for 10 years until 2032 to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea as a scholarship fund.
This scholarship fund will be used for scholarship projects aimed at improving the study environment for children and adolescents residing in Onsan-eup through Ulju County and specialized institutions, as well as for AI software education based on the Fourth Industrial Revolution and various career experience learning programs.
Executive Director Oh Seok-dong said, “We are pleased that children and adolescents in the Onsan area will be able to receive systematic career experience services and high-quality educational programs through this scholarship fund,” and added, “S-OIL will continue to strive to fulfill its corporate social responsibility while coexisting with the Onsan area where our factory is located.”
