A man in his 20s who ordered a teenage junior to rob a jewelry store was arrested by the police.
The Gwangju Dongbu Police Station announced on the 13th that they have applied for an arrest warrant for A (in his 20s) on charges of coercion and joint injury.
A is suspected of coercing his junior B last February by giving him a hand axe and ordering him to steal jewelry from a jewelry store located in the precious metals complex in Iksan, Jeonbuk.
The case came to light after B reported it to the police himself.
On the 11th, the police confirmed that A was staying at his girlfriend's house in Pungam-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju, and proceeded to arrest him.
A jumped out of a third-floor window to escape, but was chased down and caught at the scene.
A is also suspected of engaging in a group assault along with six others after getting into an altercation with two men in their 20s in an alley near Gusi City Hall intersection in Dong-gu. The police are continuing their investigation into the group involved in the assault.
