Hanwha Life has designated the entire 40th floor of its headquarters, the 63 Building, as an exclusive fitness area for employees. This initiative aims to provide better welfare for employees seeking a work-life balance.
On the 13th, Hanwha Life announced the opening of the '63 Fitness Center,' the country's 'best' fitness center.
Opened in January and now over 100 days old, the 63 Fitness Center is located on the 40th floor of the Yeouido 63 Building, Hanwha Life's headquarters. The entire floor, covering approximately 1,067.62m², is divided into a cardio zone, weight zone, GX zone, and Pilates room. At the time of opening, 1,500 people applied, and about 700 were finally registered, demonstrating its popularity.
This is not the first time an entire floor has been dedicated to employee welfare. In 2019, a library called 'Life Plus Library' was established on the 7th floor of the headquarters. It houses a total of about 100,000 books (approximately 30,000 paper books and 70,000 e-books), with 300 seats in the reading room and six meeting rooms open at all times.
Meanwhile, Hanwha Life is recruiting new employees for 2023 until the 19th. The recruitment positions include sales marketing, product actuarial, investment, credit/loan, digital finance, insurance support, management support, global division, and Hanwha Life Financial Service sales management, totaling nine divisions. Detailed recruitment information and guidelines can be found on the Hanwha Group recruitment website, ‘Hanwha In’.
A Hanwha Life official said, "As a result of considering what kind of company the MZ (Millennial + Z) generation desires most, we have promoted differentiated welfare such as a fitness center, library, and in-house cafe." He added, "We have invested two floors of the 63 Building to promote employees' health and creative thinking, and we will continue to actively gather employees' opinions to discover outstanding talent and maximize work efficiency."
