Over 9,500 Units Sold in the First Broadcast

GS Shop announced on the 13th that the ‘5-Minute Instant Rice Pressure Nurungji Cauldron’ is gaining great popularity among consumers.

This product is a pressure cooker that makes cauldron rice in just 5 minutes, and it also includes a bamboo stand and lid, allowing users to make traditional Korean set meal-style cauldron rice. In actual sales broadcasts, various restaurant menu items such as multigrain rice, bean sprout rice, mushroom rice, oyster rice, and nutritious rice are demonstrated.

During the first broadcast, over 9,500 units were sold within an hour, achieving an order amount of 800 million KRW, which is 24% higher than the target. On the 30th of last month and the 11th of this month, approximately 3,200 and 4,600 units were sold respectively.

A GS Shop representative stated, “Amid rising dining-out costs due to recent high inflation, the ability to enjoy the taste and atmosphere of a premium Korean set meal at home is analyzed as the key reason for its popularity.”
