Baekdabang, operated by The Born Korea, announced on the 13th that it has newly added 'Delivery Order' and 'QR Order' functions within its own application to enhance customer convenience and improve the operational efficiency of franchise store owners.
The Delivery Order is a service that allows customers to select menus and place delivery orders all at once through the company's membership app. By selecting a nearby store and menu from the Delivery Order tab based on the customer's location, delivery orders can be placed. Customers can also make payments using mobile and membership coupons and automatically accumulate stamps, just like regular orders. Additionally, Baekdabang expects that no separate delivery fee will be charged when ordering through this function, which will have a positive impact on franchise stores.
The 'QR Order' function is a service that allows customers to order by scanning a QR code placed in the store, enabling easy contactless ordering not only for Baekdabang membership members but also for non-members. Besides ordering, customers can conveniently check the order processing status through app push notifications and AlimTalk messages, and stamps are automatically accumulated to the entered phone number. This is expected to reduce fixed costs such as hiring store order staff or installing unmanned ordering machines.
