KBS National Singing Contest to be Held in Damyang on the 2nd of Next Month

On the 12th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that KBS National Singing Contest will be held on the 2nd of next month to commemorate the '2023 New Bamboo Festival' and the opening of Dambit Music Hall.
The National Singing Contest, loved by the entire nation, will take place at 2 PM on the 2nd of next month on a special stage at Chuseong Stadium in Damyang-gun.
The preliminary audition will be held at 1 PM on the 30th at the Damyang Culture Center Grand Theater, and about 15 finalists (teams) will be selected to perform on the main stage.
Anyone who has an address or ties to Damyang-gun can participate.
Applications for the preliminary audition can be submitted by visiting the town or township offices of Damyang-gun or the Culture and Sports Division of Damyang County Office by the 20th.
The final recording will be held at 2 PM on May 2nd on the special stage at Chuseong Stadium in Damyang-gun, featuring witty hosting by MC Kim Shin-young, invited singer performances by Kim Yong-im, Kim Hee-jae, Park Seo-jin, and the singing contest.
A county official said, “We hope many talented individuals from the region will participate and fully showcase their skills and talents,” adding, “We hope this opportunity will be a meaningful time to recharge vitality and energy in life.”
