On the 12th, Commissioner Yoon held a nationwide video conference with the heads of provincial police agencies at the National Police Agency in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, stating, "If we completely dismantle organized drug manufacturing and distribution groups, the entire team involved will be promoted."

Commissioner Yoon said, "We will prioritize eradicating drug crimes as the police's top priority and wage an all-out battle. I hope the National Investigation Headquarters led by the Commissioner of the National Police Agency and the heads of each provincial police agency will take direct responsibility and lead a joint crackdown task force mobilizing all functions."

He also urged cooperation in investigations. Commissioner Yoon said, "Investigations involving cyber, finance, women and youth crime units must work in unison to conduct multidimensional and comprehensive investigations," adding, "We will deploy a large number of cyber investigation experts to thoroughly crack down on drug distribution offenders operating on the internet, including the dark web."

He further requested the establishment of a dense and close cooperation system centered on the Special Drug Crime Investigation Headquarters and the Investigation Working Council, which include the police, prosecution, and Customs Service.

He instructed, "We must share investigation details with the prosecution from the early stages of investigations and further activate information sharing with the Customs Service regarding smuggling. We should also consult with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety on designating temporary narcotics and measures to prevent the misuse of medical narcotics, and closely cooperate with the Ministry of Education for youth prevention education."
