Minister Han Dong-hoon Personal Information Leak: Democratic Party Official Reported

A Democratic Party official has been reported to the police on charges of leaking personal information of Minister of Justice Han Dong-hoon.

On the 12th, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station announced that it received a complaint the previous day against Mr. Seo, a Democratic Party official who delivered materials containing Minister Han's personal information to Kim Min-seok, an independent member of the Gangseo District Council.

According to Councilor Kim, Mr. Seo handed over documents such as resident registration excerpts containing personal information of Minister Han and his family, real estate sales contracts, and transcripts. Councilor Kim stated, "I received about 30 files, including files related to Mrs. Kim Geon-hee and videos of unknown origin."

Mr. Seo had posted defamatory comments about Councilor Kim. After Councilor Kim filed a complaint against him, Mr. Seo reportedly sent the materials to Councilor Kim, saying, "I will provide materials that will help with your legislative activities."
