Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Han Jong-hee Meets with Portuguese Prime Minister

Han Jong-hee, Vice Chairman of Samsung Electronics, met with Ant?nio Costa, Prime Minister of Portugal, who visited Korea, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul on the 12th to discuss mutual cooperation measures.

Vice Chairman Han introduced the status of Samsung Electronics' business in Portugal, saying, "Samsung Electronics established its first overseas production subsidiary in Portugal in 1982. Portugal is a very meaningful country to Samsung Electronics."

He also explained that Samsung Electronics operates the Samsung Innovation Campus, a social contribution education program in Portugal. Through the Samsung Innovation Campus, Samsung Electronics is conducting project classes on artificial intelligence (AI) with students from NOVA University Lisbon.
